Words and your heart by Kate Jane Neal

"If someone feels sad ... your words can cheer them up! If someone feels weak, your words can help them feel stronger."

This book could be too didactic but the tiny touches of humour found in the text, font and illustrations make this a book to enjoy. Yes there are "lessons" here about the power of words - power for good and ill but it is done with a light touch. This is a book to share with a group of children early in the school year and then again at the start of each term as a way to hopefully build a culture of kindness. Kate Jane Neal has a series of resources on her web site.

Neal brings us a whimsical, but powerful message about the importance of words. First Thursday Book Review

WORDS AND YOUR HEART is a deceptively complex book. The prose is simple — yet its message is incredibly profound. Happily ever Elephants
